Description
History and Context
Yakinilo was born in the heart of Chacarita, a unique concept that combines Japanese fire with the warmth of vinyl. Its name comes from the fusion of Yakitori (traditional Japanese grilled skewers) and Vinyl, as the entire experience is accompanied by music played exclusively in this format.
The space is intimate and warm: a 12-seat bar, Japanese lanterns, light wood, and dim lighting. A place reminiscent of small Japanese izakayas, where every detail is designed to create closeness and connection. Buenos Aires media describes it as "a tiny, charming corner that transports you to Japan," and diners praise it for the authenticity of the food, the personal attention, and the immersive atmosphere.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create an identity capable of reflecting the hybrid essence of the project: Japanese tradition combined with urban musical culture, without falling into clichés or losing authenticity.
The Solution
A flexible, minimalist, and elegant branding system was developed, with a graphic language that combines oriental sobriety with the analogous warmth of vinyl. The logo, color palette, custom icons, and graphic applications convey Yakinilo's philosophy: gastronomy with soul and music with character.
The Result
Today, Yakinilo is more than a restaurant: it's a sensorial experience that unites gastronomy, music, and culture. A space recognized by critics and enthusiastically embraced by the Buenos Aires public, consolidating itself as a fresh and authentic offering within the Buenos Aires gastronomic scene.
